This property is a unique natural complex of great beauty located in the highlands of Ribeira Sacra in Galicia. Two interconnected interior courtyards, accessed from the outside through two large gateways, articulate the different areas. Around the spacious covered inner courtyard, arranged on two levels, there are four fully renovated apartments and a family area with a chapel and a large dining room. The outdoor landscaped courtyard allows visitors to appreciate the solid rock that underpins the house, and stone stairs and railings provide access to six spacious apartments: one fully renovated, three partially renovated, and two untouched. The outdoor courtyard also gives access to the large heating boiler and the areas for processing/honey, chestnuts, and mushrooms.The property includes several annexed buildings, such as a mill with two grindstones and space for horses, a traditional oven, a forge, and an alquitar (a type of distillation device). In the surroundings of the main house, there is a granary (hórreo), threshing floor (era), barn, a set of wine cellars (bodega), anteroom, and attic. Additionally, there are a medieval bridge, a Roman fountain, and a dovecote. Other buildings or constructions include covered facilities for feeding and handling large livestock, a riding arena, covered facilities for breeding, feeding, and handling game species, a specific area for the hotel and canine training, a garage for machinery and forestry tools, and a water tank with a capacity of 250 m2. There is also a mini-hydroelectric power plant with a machine room. The total built area is 3,020 m2.The Casa Grande has tourist apartments in operation. The property is involved in modern honey and chestnut production in a mushroom forest. It also exploits the commercial resources of the game animals on the estate. A mini-hydroelectric power plant provides self-sufficiency for the property. The estate includes a splendid heritage of buildings, such as the chapel, mills, oven, wine cellar, barn, and an ancient blacksmith's shop.Currently, there are four operating houses with a capacity of 10/11 apartments, including the wine cellar.
