An excellent two bedroom cortijo of sound moderrn (2013) construction, located on 1.4 Ha of land, in a rural area, 12 km from Orgiva and reached by 3 km of good track from the main road between Orgiva and the mountain villages. The cortijo has 70 m2 built, and consists of an entrance hall, a spacious living area with open plan kitchen and a woodburning stove, a bedroom and a shower room/w.c. A second, smaller, independent bedroom is accessed via a door at the side of the building. The windows are double glazed. At the back of the building are two small storerooms, and at the front a covered terrace. There are solar panels with convertor and storage batteries, and water rights, with the water from an irrigation channel ( acequia de Cerro Negro) stored in a cement water deposit of 20,000 litres, located above and behind the cortijo. Waste water from domestic use goes to a modern two chamber septic tank, a little distance below the cortijo. The land is two adjacent plots of gently sloping hillside land, of 6.662 m2 and 7,240 m2 , classified as irrigated olive land, arrable land, and scrubland. There are fine views to the south, the north ( to the mountain villages) and to the east. The location is peaceful and rural.
