The building where the flat is located has as 4 cardinal points, Park de la Creueta del Coll towards the north and Tibidabo, Park Guell to the east, Park del Turo del Putxet towards the south, the Bellesguard tower and the Science Museum to the west. It was a neighbourhood of holidaymakers and people with different interests who lived in the valley. The holidaymakers wanted peace and quiet and the people of the valley wanted better communications. Finally, a viaduct was built across the valley (the Vallcarca bridge) and the stream was developed. Following its course, the Avinguda del Hospital Militar was opened to traffic, which meant the end of isolation.
